we offer here at Coast Optometric Center.

Treatment
of Eye Disease
Dr.
Blaze is therapeutically certified to treat
anterior segment eye disease with the most
up-to-date prescription medications
available.
We often treat emergencies
the same day. If you notice flashing
lights or large floaters, make an appointment
for a dilated eye exam where we look for what
could be a retinal detachment. People with
higher degrees of myopia
are at more risk for retinal
detachment.
In addition, contact lens
wearers are three times more likely to develop
infectious keratitis, which can lead to corneal
ulceration, a potential sight-threatening
condition. If you have an "angry" red eye,
especially if you are a contact lens wearer,
this warrants prompt attention.
